There will be various employment and local contracting opportunities available to the Merredin community during the construction and operation of the Collgar Wind Farm.

Contractual arrangements for turbine supply and balance of plant works have now been finalised and details will be disclosed in March 2010. Tendering and hiring processes for locally-based employees and contractors will be established in March 2010 by the turbine and balance of plant contractors.

Your name and skill base will be included in a database which will be provided to the successful contractors and utilised as required.
