Collgar Wind Farm Pty Ltd announces the granting of an Electricity Generation Licence (EGL22) by the Economic Regulation Authority of Western Australia. The licence allows Collgar to generate electricity using wind turbine technology for supply into the South West Interconnected Network at its site located approximately 25km South East of Merredin in the Central Wheatbelt district of Western Australia.

Collgar Wind Farm announced on the 31 March 2010 that final notice to proceed has been issued to the contractors to commence with the construction of the wind farm. The plant is expected to be handed over for commercial operation in April 2012.
