Planning
The planning application for the Collgar Wind Farm was lodged with Merredin Shire Council on 12th August 2008 and planning approval for the project was issued on 23rd September 2008
In addition to local planning approvals, the project has been determined as a 'non-controlled action' under the Commonwealth EPBC Act, and the Environmental Protection Authority has advised that they do not wish to formally assess the project.
