Planning
A Planning application for the Collgar Wind Farm was lodged with Merredin Shire Council on 12th August 2008. The planning application is available for public review until 12th September 2008.
Merredin Shire Council will assess the application in line with the local planning scheme and the WAPC Planning Bulletin 67 on the Assessment of Wind Farm Developments. The application will be referred to the relevant government agencies for comment where appropriate.
Planning approval, if granted, is expected in late September/early October 2008. Merredin Shire will issue a series of approval conditions to ensure the development is undertaken in an appropriate fashion.
