Community Consultation
Investec considers community consultation to be essential at all stages of the wind farm development. A four stage consultation process has been implemented to ensure all stakeholders are well informed of the development.
Stage One
Consultation with the local council and various State agencies.
Stage Two
Consultation with landholders in the immediate vicinity of the project site via telephone and face to face meetings.
Stage Three
Consultation with the wider community through a community open day.
Stage Four
Public advertising and review of the Planning application. The application has been lodged with Merredin Shire Council and the 21 day advertising period commenced on 20th August 2008.
