In September 2014, The Guardian Australia, sponsored by General Electrical, produced an multimedia feature entitled ‘Powering People in the Country’.
MP Melissa Price visited Collgar Wind Farm on September 9th.
“With much talk about renewable energy it was good to see firsthand the Collgar Wind Farm out of Merredin on the Narambeen road. CEO Thomas Scott-Morey shows me the spare blades which are 45 meters long. There are 111 turbines over 14 farms over 190 sq kms.”

The Collgar Wind Farm Board of Directors and representatives of Collgar management visited Merredin College on Thursday 4 September to meet the Collgar VET Scholarship winners (Jamieson Mitchell-Smith and Slade Johnston) and to observe first hand some of our pre-primary students putting the primary computer room to good use.
